The sabertooth tiger is the best animal companion to have for the majority of the game. I'm lucky that it was my favorite to begin with. The other animals all have unique benefits to them. The wolf is the best hunter. The jaguars kill silently. Dholes bring you things I think. Bears are tanks. It goes on.

Resistance Mod console commands. Far Cry 5. So I just downloaded fc5 again and the resistance mod after 3 years and I like swapping out companions for other NPCs that the mod allows, problem is I can’t remember what the commands were. Far Cry 5 had SUCH a good system. The whole having a different main partner for each task, combined with the fact you could hire two eventually, was the closest thing to a single player game feeling like a multiplayer. Being able to recruit other random NPCs that were hanging around, and that you helped rescue made events feel so much more real!
