A review of Deck Nine's second Life is Strange game, the best in the series. The reviewer praises the writing, the mystery, the supernatural abilities, and the dialogue choices that offer more depth and complexity with big and small decisions. The game is set in a stunning Colorado town and has a clear goal of 14 hours.
We loved Life Is Strange: True Colors, and in our review we were impressed by how well Deck Nine managed to cram the game full of moments that make up the human experience. The entry is the most refined game in the series yet and that extends to the gameplay and collectible memory locations as well.
Game Review. Emotions are often key elements that make a story, movie, TV show or game into something interesting and immersive. But Life is Strange: True Colors, the third entry in the Life is Strange story-game franchise, takes things a step further and makes emotion a central part of its hero’s super powers.
Metacritic aggregates critic and user reviews of Life is Strange: True Colors, a game about a girl with psychic powers and her friends in a small town. The game is praised for its story, characters, and gameplay, but criticized for its length and linearity. See ratings, scores, and ratings from various platforms and sources.
Life is Strange: True Colors taught me it’s okay to feel like this, to acknowledge such failures as you grieve and accept the departure of a loved one. It’s about treasuring the times that mattered, the love and intimacy formed through the joy and perseverance that comes with being human.

Our review: This downloadable content (DLC) story clocks in at about three and a half hours of play time, which isn't too long for in-depth story games, but feels just right for a bonus chapter. Wavelengths is a prequel to True Colors, and it offers some much-needed context for the larger Life is Strange series.
